Keroro Gets an RPG De Arimasu

The sergeant is sent into the video game world, and he’s taking you along with him.

Finally, Keroro Gunso, or Sgt. Frog will be receiving an RPG game on Japan’s favorite console, the Nintendo DS. It’s official title is going to be Keroro RPG: The Knight, Warrior, and Legendary Pirate, and will take place in a world of video games. Basically, Keroro and friends are sent into a “video game” world, where they must put a stop to the monsters that are coming into the real world from the game.

The game’s battle system appears to be very similar to the “Tales Of” series of games. Which means it will also be similar to the way you can call support characters to help fight the good fight. These support characters can be other characters from the show, or (hopefully) characters from other video gams and anime; and I’m hoping there is some kind of Gundam summon, there has to be!

Yeah, I just keep thinking of the two Fullmetal Alchemist RPGs they brought out over here-- they were terrible! (And of course, the relatively decent one doesn't get released here at all-- I think it was called Dream Carnival, and it was a fighting gmae.)

I don't know about the gameplay, but the graphics only look decent for a GBA game...
