Kannagi’s mangaka Takenashi Eri is doing a lot better after being very, very sick. However, she is nowhere near being the awesome Mangaka that she normally is at the moment, and to return to that state she needs about a year off. She wrote all this in a post on the 7th of September on her blog, and it looks something like this:
★08.07★ Long time no see everyone,
Thank you to all the people that were concerned for me. I’ve pretty much recovered to the point where I can live normally now. Though I still have rely on my family for food or when going out. Once in a while I can manage to stay up for the entire day. I can even go out with my friends now.
I am definitely recovering!
But I think I’ll stop drawing for a year at the very least
I’m doing simple jobs right now (such as checking)
Please wait a little longer before I can make a return
There’s a Takenashi Eri Kannagi exhibition being held at Aoyama in Tokyo, mainly showing art and etc, please go take a look if possible!
This kind of sucks, but then I remember Hunter X Hunter, and I don’t feel as bad anymore. Seriously that guy has been sick for five years or something. Despite my anger, who knows if she will actually get the entire year off, she might feel better after a couple of months and return to work, you never know.
