K-ON! Gets the Figma Treatment

Buy one for each room.

In only two weeks time we will be able to have our first taste of the first K-On! Figma for the first time in our universe’s history. Hirasawa Yui will be the first one to be shrunk and Figmaized, then her sister Ui will be next on February 7th. Yui’s face will come blank, so that you can customize it with different expressions. Is Yui a must get, or will you be waiting for the top tier K-ON! girl Tsumugi?

They do.  She looks like an action figure.  Better get my GI Joes out.

Figma (ふぃぐま)is an action figure line from the Japanese company Max Factory, and distributed by Good Smile Company. The main selling points of this line are a high level of accuracy, a large number of figures based on anime characters, and a large amount of accessories. These accessories include exchangeable faces. In addition, several Figma have been made of the popular among otaku Vocaloid series, including Hatsune Miku. The figures also have a high degree of articulation which allows the figures to be placed in many different poses.

Unlike the Revoltech series, Figma focuses primarily on humanoid figures, rather than mecha. Due to the high amount of articulation and small joint sizes, Figmas tend to be fragile.

@GodLen:  Ah right i see, it would of been a good figure if the joints werent there. they just ruin them.

No interest. Waiting patiently for a Mio or Mugi figure. :)

@Chengy: Dude, the whole point of them is they're supposed to be somewhat functional so you em up in diaramas and poses and stuff...... idk, but I like them. Especially since I can have Signum fighting Saber.

Those are very poseable, and if it comes with extras, it's a very nice buy. Nice touch that 'make your own moe face'.
To buy the whole K-pack would be sweet.

Very nice figure, but I have to agree that Mugi is top tier. I think I'll wait to see how that one turns out.

While I think the joints on figmas can ruin some of the look of the character, they are pretty fun to play around with.
Fun with articulation
