I like the way Sam thinks, his harem was clearly superior. Maybe we should use the list feature on the site and make our own personal harem lists.
...I think I'll have to go away and think about this and come back with my own list.
Sam had the best picks. My "type" is athletic girls or girls who know how to fight (it's a great way to keep you humble if she has a legitimate chance to beat you into the ground), and that's bled over into shows and books; I really enjoy strong female characters.
I would have to make mine Nico Robin, Chie Satonaka, Eneus the Bergest, Saeko Busujima, Matsurika Shinoji, and Martel.
I do love me some Misato Katsuragi, but damn that woman has some daddy issues. I have no issues with her tastes for younger men, but when I watched this series originally I was a younger man. lol I always liked Kitsurubami from FLCL.

I can't really think of another. Those three are more than enough for me. I've got two really loud borderline obnoxious women and then a super calm, subdued one. That's the full gamut for me and probably too much to handle as two (hat trick) of them are insanely high maintenance and the other probably considers herself to be royalty, which is going to have its own issues.
If I could just hop into a harem I'd want to be in Sekirei.
But I have seen too many anime ladies to take the time to just make a list of my personal wish harem while typing this.
