Well, while I was looking around at something else entirely I stumbled upon this for-teens “Anime Pop Princess Costume,” which...well, I'm sure you're looking at the picture for yourself. It's kind of bad. It looks a little bit like Utena meets Shampoo meets the kind of Goth Loli costume you buy in the dealer room for twenty bucks.
For the record, it appears that the fuzzy boots, tights and armwarmers, and crappy-ass blonde-and-pink wig are not included-- just the weird half-military-half-cheongsam top and skirt. Which are actually apparently not two pieces since they keep calling it a dress. Very, very weird.
Can you imagine spending $35 on this? Or any teenager actually wanting to wear it? (And yet, it's sold out on the 7/9 size...)
