This isn't the first time IA has found itself in court: NYC Civil Court already ruled in favor of one employee (who claims she hasn't been able to collect), and IA is dealing with at least two other suits at the moment.
I waited a bit to post this because I left a message with ImaginAsian hoping to get some official comment from them, but I didn't have any luck-- it was towards the end of their business day. The company also declined to speak to ANN for the time being. (If you're curious, ANN's founder and current New Media Director Justin Sevakis, who previously worked at ImaginAsian, is not involved in the lawsuit.
