Hetalia Goes to the Movies

Hetalia!

Word on the streets is that a film of Hetalia Axis Powers is in the works! It's most likely an animated film, since nothing in the announcement specifies live-action, as is usually the case when such things occur, but we'll probably find out on September 30th, when the next issue of Comic Birz, which publishes the Hetalia tankobon (it's a webcomic, remember), is released. Here's the link to the official word, but as of this writing I can't get through to the site. Luckily someone copied it over to 2ch.

...What? That's it. That's all I've got. Don't look at me like that. There's no more information to share! OH GOD QUIT STARING AT ME! Fine, fine, just take this and leave me be!

On a side note, Hetalia fans are so obsessive, they're almost like a geekdom in and of themselves. As such I'm surprised we don't have more Hetalia in the database. Sniff, sniff, pout (hint, hint).
