    I have no Hentai love

    I only watch two Hentai (might be more, when I was younger) before and it didn't end to well (I was physically ill)

    The wordplay, the illustrated analogies. I laffed. Tom's thinking face reminds me of my own...

    Anyway, I've read (on blogs, or a blog, I should say) a bit about some of the visual novels out there, I must admit some of the narrative elements and the taboo nature of their setting sounds like it could actually be piquant.

    I don't think I would dally in it even if this is the case.

    Come now, as if none of you have ever watched a porno. I actually don't like a lot of ero-anime. I prefer the ero-manga. I don't like the level of violent sex that's in the anime. There are a lot of ero-manga that are closer to comedies that just happen to have graphic sex in them. There's SLUT GIRL, TAKE ON ME, SEI SO TSUI DAN SHA, RING X MAMA, POWER PLAY, or WITCHCRAFT, to name a few.

    I would much rather see action of people who like each other who want to make each other feel good. I've never quite understood why the more comedy ero-series are never adapted into anime.

    You're a bit off there, Sam. There are far, far more ero-anime based on games than based on the manga, More often, the manga interpretations come later.

    I find it incredibly hypocritical that graphic violence is often applauded in our culture, but sex is the one that's seen as immoral. Somehow watching a conceptual sex act is seen as more depraved than seeing someone get their brains blown out by a gun shot? What kind of value system is that?

    I will admit, I do love a good ero-manga every now and then (don't believe me? See my various work on Tsundero, Pipiruma! and Maid Bride). As for the animated hentai, I am not a major fan of those (have only watched perhaps 5 to 7 of them) since I seem to prefer reading than watching when it comes to adult-themed content.

    It sounds like Sam was describing the plot for Resort Boin, great vid.

    I confessed, too. I can't blame my pals here in the community. It was my curiosity and later on, wiki addiction that led me to experience this dark frontier. You'll never forget your first show.Mine was Maple Colors. Though, I wasn't of a legal age, and it was an accident when I thought the cartoon had fan service (looking at the VHS cover back then). That is another story.

    So true. I never forget the Netorare stuff. Don't know why I can't stop before it turned ugly.

    @Sonata:

    I got the Resort Boin vibe as well.

    Killer_of_trollson Jan. 21, 2013 at 11:37 p.m.

    @FoxxFireArt: There are a lot more violent hentai mangas than violent hentai animes. Also there are enough vanilla hentai and comedy hentai animes, but you are just too lazy to look. Still, you can't judge people who enjoy NTR(cuckold) or other stuff like that, there not gonna stop cause you don't approve. Henati(not counting fan-made or western animation) as a whole is obviously directed towards japanese audience, and it's due to statistics of demand & supply that stuff are made. I know some hentai have amaizing plot, but lets face it, this is porn, where plot is not the main goal. Not everyone is "in to" the same thing, and that will never happen, and not everyone is into. I can bring examples un-related to porn, look at Twilight, a greatly horrible piece of writing in every way possible, yet it's the most popular vampire fiction of the 21st century(we are doomed) that has many sequels and adaptions(let's not dig into it cause I'm getting sick).

    OfTopic, can I ask you about what your teacher said about having your lead role confront a god. I couldn't find that comment, and wanted to ask if you ever read Paradise Lost.

    It's fitting to note that this was actually our 69th episode.

    FoxxFireArt moderator on Jan. 22, 2013 at 12:24 a.m.

    @Killer_of_trolls:

    I know there are a lot of sexually violent manga series. I was just pointing out that more of the anime are based on games, and the more lighthearted, ero-comedy manga just never seen to get adapted into anime.

    What my teacher taught me about having your hero face a god. It was basically that you don't want them to defeat a god, or someone of god-level power. That's becasue once they have defeated someone of that level. It will be next to impossible to create another villain that's a credible threat. You're audience will wonder why the hero is having such a problem with someone of less power after defeating a "god". It's a psychological hurdle for them to get over.

    Just look at what's happened to Superman through the years. They've had to go to such lengths in the comics to try and create credible threats for him. They overpowered the protagonist. He seems to have every power under the yellow sun. They eventually had to retcon some of his powers away and make him vulnerable to magic.

    @takashichea: LOL yeah those of us who have seen more than a couple have been scared by it lol and we never are able to turn it off before it turns.

    I read a lot of adult manga as I prefer it and I have to agree that there is so much violent sex in Hentai today I was just pointing out the other day in a lot of them every male character is a jerk (not all of them mind you but a good portion). This can and does off put people including myself where as you can find plenty of adult themed manga that has a good story line that happens to have some adult stuff in it. I guess what im saying is it all comes down to story line if it sucks and its just a bunch of violent sexual acts not for me but as I always say its different for everyone and to each their own.

    Excellent job as always guys! My brush with hentai started and stopped with Urotsukidoji.

    It's okay, Sam. You're not alone.
    It's okay, Sam. You're not alone.

    Of course, I'm no stranger to Hentai as well. One of my first ones ended up being MIlk Junkies and Immorality. However, I've also seen some hentai manga lately, but not as much as hentai anime on the long run since some H-Manga give me the inability to eat for a while (since some of them have too many censor bars on a single sex organ when it's exposed).

    Yeah, the Netorare titles are bad news all around. :( That stuff's designed and fortified to piss their audiences off.

    I admit to watching Urotsukidoji Legend of the Overfiend and La Blue Girl in my late teens. I can't recall any other hentai in my anime viewing experience.

    CapeBarneson Jan. 22, 2013 at 11 a.m.

    I used to hate hentai when I was younger.

    But nice description of Resort Boin, Sam XD

    Now I'm looking forward to FanimeCon's hentai marathon this year, as usual. "Hand check!" says the staffers, lol.
