Gundam/Kamen Rider Advent Calenders Celebrate All Things Nerdy

And maybe Christmas, though probably not.

Is everyone familiar with the concept of an Advent calender? Most commonly known as "The candy filled thing with doors all over it," these calenders serve as a daily treat/countdown till Christmas. Well, those are fun, right? Why not use them all the time, to celebrate birthdays, or graduations. Bandai has tapped into this concept, and decided to make some "Everybody's Advent" calendars with an otaku slant.

Starting with a Kamen Rider and Gundam Variant, the doors they have are filled with a plethora of micro-collectibles. Though neither fandom is large enough in my heart to warrant a buy($27.70,) but its a cool concept. Though, normally I'll buy an advent calender and just restock it with new candy the next year, not sure where/how I'd find an appropriate amount of miniatures to restock this sucker.

Anyone interested can check out the pre-orders on any number of sites, though I'll just link you to Amazon.jp. The current release date is set to March 20th.
