Gundam Unicorn to Have Simultaneous Release

Gundam Unicorn will have the best release ever.

Simulcast is all the rage right now, and Bandai Visual will not be left in the dust. For the release of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Bandai Visual has gone above and beyond the call of duty, by releasing the disk with both Japanese and English dubbing, and with English, French, Spanish, and Chinese subtitles on board. This amazing release will be out in stores on March 12.

The first episode will also be played as a “premier review” in theaters around Japan, which will also offer advance sales of the anime. Not only that, but it will also be released on the Sony Playstation store for PS3s and PSPs. This multinational release is just amazing, though I think the early sales at theaters is kind of dumb. All it takes is one person to rip it on the internet.

In celebration for this event, here are some pictures of a Neo Zeon motorcycle helmet!

Here's hoping I can find a job to afford it.

Here's to hoping that Bandai Visual doesn't eff this up like they did MS Igloo by trying to charge outrageous Japanese DVD prices on the US release...

@HeeroYuy: yeah, i can sort of see that happening now.

@GodLen: I'd rate the odds of them doing it again very high, though who knows, perhaps they learned from their past mistakes when they realized their sales were crap?
