Gundam Unicorn: Six Hours of Gundam Ecstacy!

Looks like we FINALLY have final word on Gundam Unicorn's form and length.

That is NOT sparkly...
That is NOT sparkly...
A couple of days ago Len lamented the word that we had that Gundam Unicorn might only be an hour long, but it turns out that the OVA series will be 50 minutes...per episode. Of which there will be six! So cheer up, Len. Sunrise has got your back. It won't be 24 episodes, but it'll still be a solid six-ish. And it's due out in spring 2010!

As the previous reports indicated, the first episode will also be based off of the first two novels...not sure how they'll cram two novels into 50 minutes, but it should be pretty interesting anyway.

Besides, unicorns are pretty and sparkly! Right?

I'm excited. Good ol' OVAs. Kinda glad it's not another 50-episode series.

Two chapters in 50 minutes sure, but two novels?

Trying to marathon 50 minute episodes is hard though... I mean, marathoning 30 minute episodes doesn't seem so bad because it feels like barely every 5 minutes you see another eyecatch and ED/OP so it seems to go faster. Still, this is gonna be epic.
