Gundam 00 Short on DVD

Straight out of the Gundam 00 festival...

 Defending earth in your century...

Those of you who weren’t able to attend the Gundam 00 Festival 2009-2010 “Trailer for the Trailblazer” event at last New Year’s eve’s Tokyo International - - and thus weren’t able to see the new “00 Anastasia” short - - needn’t fret any longer. The short will be included in the Gundam 00 event’s official DVD, which is set to drop on June 25.  Coming in at a whopping 150 minutes, spread out over two discs, the set also includes the trailer for the Gundam 00 movie blazing at you this September, as well as a “making-of” video.   If you can’t wait until the 2010’s seventh month to check out that trailer, we’ve already got you covered. Thanks to the Anime News Network for the scoop.

Gundam Gundam Gundam… the franchise is 30 years old and still going strong, like a galactic battle suit running on a nuclear reactor that never depletes. In addition to this news, of course, there’s the super-deformed  SD GUNDAM SANGOKUDAN and the GUNDAM UC movie premiere I've posted about throughout the week. There’s so many different versions and timelines, it’s seriously tricky to keep track. I sympathize a lot more with new comics readers vexed by all the different simultaneously-occurring iterations of Batman.

Are you excited for this, oh kaleidoscopic Anime Vice community? Which version of Gundam of the three I’ve posted about this week do you like the most? What about of all Gundam ever?
