Gundam 00 Movie Teaser

I AM GUNDAM!

We’ve been talking about this new Gundam movie for a while now, and it’s finally time to see this thing in action. For those of you who might have just returned from your cave hideout that doesn’t have internet connection, the Gundam 00 movie is an expansion of the story after the end of Gundam 00. But at this point, the actual storyline is unknown, other than it has something to do with Jupiter.

Here we finally are able to see what the other new Gundams look like, and how each one is drastically different than their less evolved form, though Allelujah’s Gundam looks the same as always. Either way the music is really selling it for me, you got me on the hook, don’t let me down.

@GodLen: The mechs always look kinda the same to me, but this does look pretty shiny. Or pretty AND shiny. Something like that. :D

Tieria's unit look extremely weird with those cable-cannons. But somehow always he gets the weirdest machine...or say the fanciest.
In contrast we hardly saw anything about Harnut. Man, playing cheap on Allelujah's scenes again?
 
Anyways I hope in the movie everything makes sense...

Excuse me I've read nothing that says this movie is a sequel. Looks like a recap to me and unless I'm proven otherwise.

@Void_Wizard:  Go watch the end of Season 2 again. At the end of the credits you see a picture of  a picture of Jupiter and it says the Childhood of Humankind ends and then it says the movie comes out in 2010.

Form what I have watched for sunrise {the makers of gundam and pretty much every other mecha} when they make a move it’s not a recap of what happond {I’m looking at you evangelion}   it a new movie and story {endless waltz for example}

Ha! Gundam survived and became what it is today thanks to recap movies (The Mobile Suit Gundam compilation trilogy). Then we have compilation footage movies from 0083, 08th MS Team, Turn-A and Seed/Seed Destiny.
 
And technically, the Endless Waltz movie is a compilation of a three-episode OVA from a year earlier.

All I know I cant wait it looks amazing and yes I did just finish the series crawlled out from under a rock just a couple a months ago and omg this movie looks amazing. I cannot wait for this thing....

Considering where 00 leaves off, I'm alright, I guess.
 
its no endless waltz in terms of designs... that's a gundam movie to get behind.
