Now, imagine there was a 2d side scroller where the titular feature is your ability to "destroy costumes" via battle. Ikki Tousen: Xross Impact is that video game.
Following the events after Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, the PSP game will feature 6 characters (1 "totally new brawler" whatever that means) and is set to come out April 1st, 2010.
EDIT: The new brawler is an original character to the series, and not a character new to video game adaptation.
EDIT: Destructoid confirms that there are "actually" 22 characters. 6 of them are new. Other sites aren't allowed to have typos!

Kotaku has twice betrayed me today. Bashcrafts lack of editing left him stating there would only be 6 characters, while Dale's source stated the addition of 6 characters. Sounds much more plausible. Though 22 characters in a side scroller both excites and makes me feel that the characters will have little identity.
