Gatchaman Director Hisayuki Toriumi Passes Away At Age 67

Director of Gatchman, Tekkaman, and others is no longer with us.

It's always a sad thing when someone passes away.  Director Hisayuki Toriumi died Friday January 23.  He was only 67.  He was a director and worked on several animes including Gatchaman, Tekkaman, The Mysterious Cities Of Gold, Area 88 and Speed Racer

It's too bad he didn't live long enough to see the upcoming Gatchaman CGI movie.  67 just seems too young an age to die.  Rest in peace dude.
