GARO Gets A Theatrical Film.... IN 3D!

The golden Makai Knight is back.

I wasn’t expecting this when I woke up today, but GARO is coming back! Well, not as a television show, but as a theatrical film. However, this is not your normal theatrical film you see; but a 3D one. Because we all know that 3D is the new black at the moment. The studio Tohoku Shinsha has announced that this new film, named GARO~Red Requiem will use 3D image technology developed by the Tôhoku Shinsha group.

For those of you still scratching your heads on what exactly this GARO thing is, let me enlighten you. GARO is a live-action special-effects show that is a lot darker than your normal Super Sentai, or Kamen Rider show. The best part is, it even has nudity (a little, but I’ll take what I can get!) To be honest, the real best part about this series is the fight choreography, it has some of the craziest fight scenes I’ve ever seen. However the CG effects were average at best, but I guess that’s expected from Japan.

Three cheers for more GARO!

Maybe the craziest fight scene you will ever see.

I love Garo, and I'd love for more of it. However, I felt the series and the special came to a good end for the entire story. It's left for plenty of more story, but I'm just a little worried about pushing the franchise.

Just to be sure though, by 3D, we mean 3D googles? I don't really care one way or another about the recent resurgence in the 3D gimmick. More Garo is all that's needed for my attention, and it worked.

Also, please let JAM Project do the OP or at least some song for this too.
