Forget the Endless Eight: Go buy a Haruhi CD!

Who doesn't still love Hare Hare Yukai

Speaking of iPods, the musical phenomena of Haruhi Suzumiya recenty reached a milestone. Since the release of the 2006 anime, we've seen 25 different CD's, ranging from Drama to soundtracks, to variants on variants of the cds. Now counting the Wednesday release of "Super Driver," over 1 million CDs have been sold.

Though, the 25 CD number is a bit skewed, since it doesn't include the English Drama CD's that Bandai packaged with its US release. I'd decry series abuse, but I'll buy just 10x soundtracks for shows like Utena and Escaflowne, so I can't judge.

The Haruhi cds I got from buying limited edition dvds are all I'm going to own. I will never buy the limited editions of season 2 they will be lucky if I even bother to buy the boxset.

@John_Martone: Watching the same episode 8 times is enough to make many diehard fan against buying season two.  Heck even Yamamoto-san was against it and wanted to limit it to two epidsodes at the time.

Off-topic Yamamoto-san is cool.

And potentially 2 R2 dvds could be filled with it if they air at least 8 episodes of this sh*t. (As long as it is 4 episodes a disc, poor Japan getting 2 a disc LOL)

I think I officially like Louise more than Haruhi now. At least whenever Louise was arrogant and annoying she kept to inside her 2D world. Haruhi managed to find a way to make it affect the viewers too though, and for that, she won't be seeing my wallet again for a looooooooonng time.

Also, gia, what Bandai drama CDs? All the ones that came with the special editions were repackaged versions of some of the music CDs.
