First 7 Minutes of Gundam UC Available Worldwide...Tomorrow

Yes, even Canada and the UK and all that!

A while ago I mentioned that the first seven minutes of Gundam Unicorn were going to come available on the PSN and on the regular 'net, and I know a couple of you went and checked it out.

But for those of you who were unwilling to put together a Japanese PSN account to make it work, good news: the first seven minutes are going to be available to the rest of the world, and subtitled in multiple languages: English, French, Spanish, traditional Chinese, and simplified Chinese. It goes up TOMORROW-- at least for now, although some sites may scramble to get it online early.

But one way or another, tomorrow you can click here to watch it. I'll try to issue a reminder tomorrow, and leave a comment if you find a working copy!

The PSN videostore is region locked meaning to see content outside of your region you need more than just an account in that region you will need a proxy server from that region as well. The games part of the PSN store is the one where you just need a PSN account in that region if I remember correctly.

Good luck finding a working copy, I will take great delight in watching the link/embed that's posted.

Though, since tomorrow in Japan is late today here, you can probably get onto in tonight. I'll get on it after I work on dinner. Assuming the PS3's are done being broken at large.

@John_Martone:
True I was just replying that getting access to video content outside of your region on PSN is a lengthier process than simplying making up a fake email address in another country to access game related content from other parts of the world since video content requires an IP from that region as well. I think it has to do with how Blu-Ray games are region free but Blu-Ray movies are not. *I actually confirmed I'm right via the power of the internets

As for broken PS3's I haven't turned mine on in awhile** and didn't plan on it so it's staying off until they get a patch out.

**I've only had time for portable games in between class mainly and most of my backlog is 360, FFXIII will probably be the first time I actually use my PS3 for games and that will probably be in May with a little bit in April. I've definitly need to play some of it in early May though so I can talk about it a bit/not get too many spoilers at the Final Fantasy panel that I'm assuming will be at Anime North again that I'll probably go to with some friends
