First 10 Minutes Of Death Note: L, Change The World

MTV streams the first ten minutes of the movie.

MTV, of all people, have an exclusive stream of the first ten minutes of "Death Note: L, Change The World."  This is the third of the live-action Death Note movies to hit theaters.  I'm a big fan of the manga.  I thought the first movie was pretty good.  I missed out on seeing the second.  These two-night limited releases (in the U.S.) don't make it easy to see in theaters.  This one will be released on April 29, in limited locations.  You can watch the stream HERE but I wonder if MTV is going to pull their usual "not available outside the U.S." thing.

Has anyone (outside of the U.S.) already seen this?  How does it compare to the first two movies?  How does it compare to the manga/anime?

I am going to watch this so I won't watch this clip. From what I hear, its okay. Its not as suspenseful as the previous two movies. Also GMan, you should watch the second movie. Its so cool!

I really wanted to see the second.  Viz sent me a pass to see it when it played nearby but I just couldn't make either of the two nights.  Then I was supposed to get a copy of the dvd to review but somehow it never reached me (hence, no review of it).  I know I should get off my butt and pick up the movie.  It's just a matter of time.

And I'm glad MTV isn't limited this stream to just the U.S.

I saw it at AX last year and really enjoyed it. It basically felt like a fangirls dream movie because of its exclusive focus on L, but I found it to be fairly enjoyable, but I really like Death Note to begin with so I may be a bit biased :).

Yeah I can see it here in Ireland (which pisses me off because MTV block any of the MTV Multiplayer Video, even the little lunch time one minute comment videos that Totilo does/did).
I'd watch this, but wouldn't expect much.

I did see the entire anime series, and when I heard about the live-action movie, I've been curious.

I was impressed by the first movie.  I reviewed it at Comic Vine and just realized that I should bring that review over here as well.  If you read my review, keep in mind I hadn't read the entire manga at that point.  What impressed me was that it was a well made film with obviously a lower budget that your typical Hollywood movie.

It was pretty good.
I saw it at AX and it's cool that they throw a little twist in at the end.
I liked this one cause it filled in about L to continue the storyline.
If your a fan of the movies, watch it. ^^

I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Looks interesting... the FBI chick has the same name as me and kicks some ass so that makes me happy... as for the english that everyone is speaking... it's a bit messed up which turns me off.

i own the japanese sub version( i've had it since christmas) I found it to be pretty funny, and kinda sad. Also you get to see L walk upright *gasp* and you get to see a pretty greusome death.
