This might be the wrong time to post this because most of you are out of school at this moment, but just remember this article a couple months from now. Some mysterious, yet awesome person named Rafi Hasib created a Final Fantasy version of the Periodic Table of Elements. This version is exactly the same as the regular table of elements, only that it features Final Fantasy characters, monsters, and summons instead of nothing. I’m not sure how this will help you understand that Ca is Calcium and not Cactuar, but the world works in mysterious ways.

Even though I’m a Final Fantasy fan, I’m still having a hard time figuring out who each character is; almost as if I was looking at the real Periodic Table. Someone needs to make an anime version of this. (Hey, now that I think about this, I do have the power to create one!) Check out his website for the interactive picture with mouse over information and everything.

I wish that those character pictures used were in a MUCH better shape and resolution.... Some sort of consistence would'nt hurt too.

Know the faces of ca. 45 of them, but may be able to name a third of them. XD What is somebody like 83 being there? I hate support characters of ugly playable characters.^^

Are "4, 38, 87, 90" out of one of those Tactics ones for DS?

I don't think poor Cid didn't make it to the list. Dr. Cid from XII did, and some members of the Highwind "family." I don't think Biggs and Wedge did either :)

Love the image, love the idea, though I petition for a better resolution image.

And why is Kefka Californium? Not that you have to justify it, but you just gotta point out kefka

@John_Martone: California has quirky people that are berserk-y psychopaths much like Kefka...?

I can attest to this. I live in California. :)
