Everything is Better When it’s 8-Bit

Arakawa Under the Bridge opening in glorious 8-Bit sound.

Remember back in science class when you learned about the law of sound, that any sound transformed into an 8-bit signal makes the sound ten times more appealing to the human ear? Yes, of course you do. A smart otaku has put this law into practice by adapting the opening to Arakawa Under the Bridge into 8-bit glory. Boy this makes me wish there was a real Arakawa 8-bit game, since everything in the anime screams of that 80’s video game mentality of throwing silly enemy designs together for no real reason.

For those of you who have not watched this anime, I would highly recommend that you do. The story, the character interactions, and the randomness gets better and better after each episode.

This is pretty cool, but if you want to see some 8-Bit greatness. Check out this sprite battle between Luffy and Naruto. Though, it is more then 8-Bits. Watching this makes me wish it was an actual game.

@FoxxFireArt: Well they are using the sprites from Jump Ultimate Stars so it sorta is an actual game, though not as extreme as that video.

Man, I wish that game had the connectivity of the Bleach DS games where you only need one cart to play a match with any character with a friend. Instead they'd just let you use some lame preset teams. I guess I could blame my friends for not getting the game themselves :/
