Eden of the East Movies to Contain Recap

However, how much is in question

Astute super user Schwindelmagier brought it to our attention that Juiz blog has the newest trailer for both EoE: King of Eden and EoE: Paradise Lost. Juiz blog is the official site for Production I.G.'s Eden of the East, and thus the trailer is as official as can be.

The Verdict: Scary, but not unexpected. The trailer consists entirely of old footage, which does relegate one, if not both, movies to recap. We expected this, but I couldn't help but hope for brand new footage, or maybe even telling the events of the story via a new, unseen Selecao. One glimmer of hope is that the spot was was for both movies, so its hard to say how much this reflects on EoE: Paradise Lost, which is where I hold all my hopes and dreams.

Needless to say my "Money for Eden" jar is already in place, and I'll have till November to seduce someone who can translate Japanese.

I'm not sure if it will really be a lot of recap.  On screen it says "Six months after Takizawa Akira dissapeared" which could mean something...  And Saki says "In this country without kings he chose to fight again."  We have several months before the movie though, so who knows?

Do we know if "Falling Down" is licensed for the movie too?

The fact that they showed the sound effect in the trailer confirms to me my fears....
  WHY?!?!?

Dig Deeper into Eden of The East

Akira Takizawa wakes up in Washington D.C. with no memory of his former life and naked. He has a special phone and 8.2 billion yen that he can use to order almost whatever he wants. What is Akira's origin, and how did he get this phone?
