I've already voiced my love for the older shows that got me anime, and
Fist of the North Star is one of those beloved memories.
Mania reports that
Discotek Media has officially announced the second series release, which will include the next 36 episodes in the series (the first 36 were
released in July as Volume 1). I've seen some of the first release, and I can vouch that the quality looks great.
If you keep up with
Discotek's blog, by the way, you may also have noticed that they also licensed the
Galaxy Express 999 film,
Project AKO and a couple of live action films, Princess Blade and Aquarian Age. With all these licensing announcements week, I feel like my pocketbook is not ready! maybe I ought to get a part-time job...
Hmm I didn't know there were more episodes of Fist of the North Star.
