Digimon MMO Set to Digitize US Soil

In your face pokemon!

Sure, with all the talk of pokemon, their successful movies and games, we've wistfully looked up at the night sky and said "Wouldn't it be cool if they made a Pokemon MMO." Well, at least somebody was listening, even if that somebody was the Digimon franchise.

Now, before you jump on my case, know that I have my own love of the little digital monsters. In fact, I have a MetalGreymon figure resting on my shelf at home (it changes into WarGreymon!) Either way, I'm more than excited for the concept of a Digimon MMO too. Digimon Battles, as it is called, is apparently a Korean MMO that is being adapted by WeMade for North American consumption.

Taking place within the third generation of the series, the game is set to launch this March. The trailer didn't knock my socks off, but I will definitely be looking forward to digitizing, even if just for a little bit.

i think i herd about this game some time ago im not much of a mmo fan but the game looks ok.

and is the digimon series still going on. do people still compare it to pokemon.

i hope there are some new cool looking monsters like this guy.

I dug the series, well the 1 ½ seasons I saw of it anyway.
Last digimon game I played was for the original PSX.

@Oneesama: I always thought the digimon looked more badass than Pokemon who always had to be cutesy. Some Digimon wore clothes and there were cyborg digimon to. In the end though the designs got a bit tiring with to many dragons and armored dinosaurs.

The "The Wizard" reference I'm making is in fact the part where this guy says "I love the powerglove, it's so bad".
Implying it was a bad game.

I enjoyed the last digimon game I played, even if Icant remember it's name.

The trailer was nothing special, but im still happy of a digimon game.

I guess I'm kinda interested in seeing how this game turns out, even though I am MMO-apathetic.

@CalAggie: Edited for great justice. My greatest weakness is trying to hold actual conversations while writing. It slows down my though process, addles my brain to twist words, and makes the whole process take so long that I frantically post it(skipping the editing phase.)
