Oh Fist of the North Star. There are some jokes that grow into legends, and the karate/body exploding tales of Kenshiro is amongst those figures. Sentai Filmworks recently announced that Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story would be receiving an English dub, to replace the sub only version they put out prior. Like Clannad before it, Legends of the Dark King will have an upgrade program, where sending in your old dvd, plus a few dollars, will net you the new, improved DVD.
All you have to do is send in the dvds, the slip art/case, and 20 bucks... and 3-4 weeks you'll have a dual audio track version of "Dudes who punch dudes, and watch them explode." Better yet, 30 will get you the Blu-Ray version, with extra definition of the flying body parts. I dunno, I'm not sure I'd endorse upgrading Clannad or Blue Drop, but my copy of LotDK demands an English dub, and it had better be as good as the originals. By good, of course, I mean absolutely terrible (you only need to watch the first 20 seconds or so of the video)
Mmm... sweet, delicious Fist of the North Star...
Fist of the North Star Makes me Want to Punch Things
Is Fist of the North Star powerful enough to make even John a manly man?
I recall watching this in high school many many moons ago, but all I remember of it is fist=exploding, and friends fighting about who would win in a fight of Goku from DBZ vs the main guy from this show.
Meh the original was plenty, somehow I doubt this spinoff will capture the same chest/head explosions as well or the random violence and dismemberment's. For the sake of those who buy the dub though I hope it is at least half as corny a the original.

He's been doing the same thing, over and over again, for over a decade. And he seems to constantly be re-learning lessons. But Ash deserves still deserves your respect!
