(San Francisco, CA) - February 8, 2010 -- San Francisco based comic book publisher, eigoMANGA announces the production of the manga adaptation of 'Danity Kane' set to be released to comic book and retail stores in the Spring of 2010.
'Danity Kane' is created by recording artist Dawn Richard and written by Natasha McGough. Illustrations are done by Kim Jimin. The 'Danity Kane' manga shares the same name as the platinum selling international pop group "Danity Kane" once fronted by Dawn Richard.
The original 'Danity Kane' comic book was inspired by the music scene in modern society however, Dawn and Natasha plan to take the 'Danity Kane' story into a different direction.
'Danity Kane' is a story about a naive yet powerful youth sent from a distant planet to liberate her people while combating a secret war between them and their oppressors which has spilled onto Earth.
Together Dawn and Natasha want to create an epic story that chronicles the coming of age journey of a powerful young girl born and raised with a legacy that's griped with war, destruction, and family strife yet promises a revolutionary future of liberation, peace, and unity.
