Crunchyroll Starts the New Year with Natsume Yuujinchou

Crunchyroll is our first licensor of the year, with Natsume Yuujinchou.

Ahhh, the first post of 2009, and it's one I'm excited about: Crunchyroll will be airing both seasons of Natsume Yuujinchou; the second season will be a simulcast as the show airs in Japan! Natsume is one of those shows I never got around to watching but had recommended to me many times, so I'm really glad I'm going to have the opportunity to do so.

They didn't offer up a blurb on the series, so here's my shorty on the new season from the Winter Season Preview:

Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou follows the continued tales of a beleaguered boy who inherits his grandmother's book of demons that she captured against their will. Now he has to make up for her cruelty.

Good times! Hey Crunchyroll, can you try and snag the license for Hetalia Axis Powers, too?

Yue: Yeah, they announced they'd be doing that some time ago, so I'm not surprised. :)
