Crunchyroll Scores with the Koihime Muso Girls

Today's Crunchyroll pick up is...

Crunchyroll has announced another new fall show that they'll be simulcasting: Shin Koihime Muso, the sequel to Koihime Muso, based on the popular eroge of the same name.

"Adapted from BaseSon's Japanese visual novel game with a nearly all-female interpretation of the Chinese literary classic ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS, SHIN KOIHIME MUSO is animated by Dogakobo and features returning cast members Emi Motoi, Erika Narumi, Hiroka Nishizawa, Maki Kobayashi, and Nami Kurokawa in lead voice-acting roles."

Like 11eyes, Koihime will be available everywhere except Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and French-speaking Europe, and it'll be free to everyone one week after it airs in Japan. It will, of course, be available earlier for paying Anime Members. Here, have a press release!

As always, don't forget you can get a full writeup on the show's story and some of the cast and crew in the fall 2009 anime preview!

Dig Deeper into Crunchyroll

Originally created as something of a specialty YouTube for anime and other Japanese media and consisting primarily of illicit fansubs, in 2008 CrunchyRoll established deals to legally distribute some popular anime series simultaneous to their Japanese airing.
