Community Spotlight
We've come to the end of the week and Whiskey Media is only a week away from it's second annual Big Live Show Live. I'm not sure we should expect anything for us at Anime Vice, but it should be fun to watch. Promotional out of the way, lets get working on ourAnime Vice Community Spotlight. Our wiki database is steadily growing to be high quality information to rival anything in the other databases. I really like that I often have too much stuff to filter through for the spotlight.
A bit of news that Tom covered is that there is finally an Evangelion 3.0 release date, and a clip of Asuka sporting that eye patch. He didn't remember any eye patch from the past, but I recall that very eye being covered at the end of End of Evangelion. Tom alsointerviewed Brendon Lindsey about the anime-inspired MMORPG REMNANT KNIGHTS. and the prize giveaways that will follow the promotion of the game. Streamline Story Arc Initiative
As I announced in last week's spotlight, Anime Vice is trying to strengthen our wiki database by refining our character's Major Story Arc sections to be more condensed for readers. I already finished both Nami and Robin's profiles as examples, and I've nearly completed Luffy's. Trust me, trying to sum up 14 years worth of history in four paragraphs or less in each story arc is far from easy. This portion of the spotlight will be dedicated to profiles that are in need of some streamlining. Check the Wiki Task list for some high bounties. More characters can be added a interest is shown.

Cheers to everyone who's hard work and tireless efforts made this week's AV Community Spotlight. My work on the Sora no Otoshimono manga volumes continues, Takashichea is helping streamline my overly-detailed character arc sections on my character pages, and I am teamed up with both AnnaBanana and Takashichea in the ongoing image/page work for upcoming Beelzebub episodes.

We aren't removing hentai series from the database, we are just removing images of graphic nudity. Slut Girl is just as much comedy as it is sex. You also notice that I didn't use any pictures that showed nudity. The same way Comic Vine and Giant Bomb still have sex themed series.

Okay, I knew it was something to do with hentai. I thought with the removal of nude pictures that certain series would equally get the cut. Guess I was mistaken.
There was a mini-episode that was posted, but I don't think I mentioned that in the forums. I assume that those involved will be slapping me for that one later. My bad fellas. My bad.

Before I did the blog for Sket Dance project, I thought about adding Knowledge for K, but I stands for intelligence. I did not want to add the same meaning. Wisdom sounds nice though. I have to change the Intelligence to something else if I add Wisdom.
I was trying to add four different ideas for those letters. I came up with Kindness because many of us were helping other wiki editors, new and old.

@FoxxFireArt: I decided to edit the Anime Vice hentai rules to make them stricter on Giant Bomb. Now we delete images of partial nudity that suggest sexual content and have out right banned loli and shota content.

Does that mean Ecchi images that somehow fall through the loophole qualify for deletion? Most of times, these images do not have nipples or genitalia? I mean one guy uploaded a tentacle image, and unfortunately, it did not violate Ethan's rules.

Please check the comment for that image on page four on Ethan's No Hentai images blog.
A stricter rule would be wise if images like these keep going under the radar.

I did not noticed earlier, but give a round of applause to the staff and the engineers who have worked hard on making this site awesome. A new feature was added due to the request of wiki editors. The feature is about searching one's galleries by clicking on the galleries that you make. It keeps everything organized. No more going through tons of images in your own user gallery to find the one you need.
