Community Spotlight
We kind of had a little break for the Anime Vice Community Spotlight due to a minor communication issue, but that's water under the bridge. The past few weeks have been a busy one for us, and we have a new intern handling some of the duties. I hope everyone makes Fullmetal216 feel welcome. Be sure to visit his profile and SPAM his wall with greeting messages. Now, lets get back to business.
GodLen returned last week to covering the big Shonen Three series after the week's break, Tom posted his closing video review onFullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and the text review of the live-action Gantz movie. Sotyfan16 has begun what he hopes to be a regular feature for the site that he calls " When LOL Isn't Enough". In the industry, FUNimation announced their full cast for Fairy Tailand added more episodes to their online site. I was also able to share a special spotlight editorial of the Women of the Anime and Manga Industry. The comments have been great. I hope to be able to share more with you.

Wonderful Wikis
I created a large number of Wiki tasks this week for both Persona 4 and Fairy Tail. In under a week, all but two were completed. We went from almost no information on Persona 4 to swarming with data. The users have been pretty busy in the wiki. There was another boom of profiles to showcase. I love seeing this. I also noticed that Destinyheroknight has been doing some editing in the Negima!series. For anyone in Whiskey Media that doesn't think anything goes on here. They have no been looking through our wiki.
Streamline Story Arc Initiative
Some of the issues we have been trying to cover across both Comic Vine and Anime Vice are how our character wiki pages from long running series have become overly wordy in Major Story Arcs. So much so that they can be intimidating for users to read. Wiki editors should be keeping an eye on the Wiki Tasks board, because special tasks will be created to try and slim down some of the character pages. In preparation, I went through and deleted much of my own work on some character profiles in place of a more condensed history to serve as examples.

Congrats to the teams for Sket Dance and Gosick! They did great!
It's a Persona and Fairy Tail boom these past 2 weeks. There is plenty of small wiki submissions. That is awesome.

Streamlining - This is going to a bit tough. The episode/ or volume linking is out of the question, right? I will do my best to make them concise.
Well, I have to give out some personal recognitions:

I did this because we need a bigger turnout for this spotlight. It's just like my social event today. Only 15 out of 60 people came. Let's give some love to this spotlight!
If I embarrass you, I apologize in advance. I just bringing out a huge list that I have been keeping a tab on.

It's going to be slow this fall.
We need Ethan to publish the data porn for the summer months: May, June, July, and August. This image is found on Anime Vice's Facebook galleries. I think this summer is the biggest peaks of community's work (blogs, forums, etc.).
It could be called "Summer Bash Data Porn" or something cooler.
Heh, I hope I'm doing okay on the wiki stuff. I know you can always edit it later but I don't want to make extra work.

Just be sure to check out the Wiki Style Guide and look to some of the pages spotlighted in this Community Spotlight as examples. That should help you out for some inspiration.
It's perfectly fine to edit stuff later. I tend to do a lot of work like that. I do a lot of writing, then go back and check for errors.

Hmm. I'm checking through your spotlight pages, FoxxFireArt. I noticed you spotlighted Anna Kyoyama twice.
The last time was on June 2, 2011. It's no big deal. I check for duplicates or any odd things.
