Community Spotlight 7/12/12

Here's hoping all of you in the Anime Vice Community had a great July 4th. A week has passed, and it's time once more to spotlight the work done by the users to build up the wiki database into a treasure trove of anime and manga the internet has not seen before. While you all were busy with that. I made A made my special quesadilla burgers and watched the first AVATARseries.

Tom's hard at work this week. Not only does he have all his San Diego Comic Con duties, but he's been writing reviews for anime and posting articles about his trip to Anime Expo. He also uploaded another great interview with the anime king, Richie Branson. be sure to check them all out on the front page.

Fans of AVATAR may want to check out the Character section for the franchise page. Not only is it filled with all the major players, but also the wild supporting cast. I had no idea AVATAR had so many characters. It's nearly on the same level as ONE PIECE or NARUTO. Word in the blogs is that THE LEGEND OF KORRA's second season has been confirmed. You should check it out for more details.

Anime AMV Showcase

I saw this AMV spotlighting the mature HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD series, and the song and editing were incredible. If you never heard of HOTD before, this AMV could probably make you want to try it out. At 12 episodes, it's an easy recommendation. Providing you don't mind fan service.
