Well, haven't we all been having an 'eventful' week or two? You may have heard somewhere that the Whiskey Media brands have been split and sold to different parties. I'm sure everyone has a ton of questions about what this change will be meaning for the Anime Vice Community. I only wish I had some answers for you. Tom was able to finally give us some information about the future of Anime Vice and posted about it in his notice article HERE. The Mods are also going to try keep up our regular level of involvement in bringing you readers more news, reviews, and editorials.
The AV Mods have been continuing their weekly episode reviews of Sket Dance, Waiting in the Summer, and Recorder and Randsell. I will be taking up Bodacious Space Pirates in place of ZombiePie. I only ask you give me a bit of time to watch up to the latest episodes since I wasn't originally watching that series. Thanks to the Crunchyroll App on my Kindle Fire. I should be caught up in no time. Readers should also enjoy the discussion of the heartbreaking Persona 4 Ep. 22 articles that Nick and I had for the Amateur vs. Expert segment.

Anime AMV Showcase
I thought with all the changes going on. I'd do something a bit different with the AMV spotlight. This week is still a musical video, but it's a speed painting video of an artist digitally drawing a and set to music. I've thought about trying this myself since getting my tablet, but I'm not sure how you video capture this sort of thing.
Remember, if you would like to submit something for the Spotlight. You can send me a PM, but please be sure to add "Spotlight" to the subject line. I can't stress how important that is because it might just be lost in my Inbox when I clear it. Even if you have worked on something yourself and are really proud of your work. Get to work, and make more content for the next Spotlight!! Jana!!

I can't wait to read how different (or alike) your opinions to Bodacious Space Pirates are compared to ZompiePie's. Plus, I have invented a new term TGFCR (Thank Goodness For CrunchyRoll).
Congrats everyone! It's great to see a lot of new wiki editors. Kudos to my teammates for their support for each other in the wiki projects and weekly reports. It's busy for everybody.
I would like to make a shout out to for doing a great job with the reviews this year and in Fall of 2011.
The community spotlight needs to have a section on Reviews. I feel it's an important contribution in our community and omitting that will alienate the reviewers.
Thank you for spotlighting my teammates' works.
Well, people would either not submit reviews or the ones I saw were little more than a paragraph.
@sora_thekey:
I'm only a few episodes in. The pacing is strange, but it's based on a light novel series. I spent yesterday adding in all the characters I could to the wiki. This included all the members of that Yacht Club.
Major props to all of the hardworking AnimeVice members who had their excellent work in the Wiki database or in the blogs. I know that the recent uncertainty over the potential future of AnimeVice after Whiskey Media was broken apart in the purchases by both CBSInteractive and BermanBraun (?) has some worried, but just keep up hope that perhaps our site's new owners can give AnimeVice a much-needed boost in order to help this site return to it's former glory.
Good job to those keeping up the hard work in these unsure times. I will continue to put content up when I can.
@FoxxFireArt: @takashichea:
Would my Dunce Cap videos count for reviews even though they are not posted in the Review section?
@sotyfan16:
Yes, I believe so. Reviews are not that formal in this community. Blogs and videos should count as reviews if they rate something. It's up to FoxxFireArt since he's in charge of the community spotlights.
@FoxxFireArt:
How about these reviews?
