I hope everyone in our fine Anime Vice Community had a fun week. I had some really nice submissions for the spotlight this week, and I've been seeing a lot of activity in the wiki queue. Sure, most are a lot of small edits, but those are just as welcome to wiki as large ones. In stark contrast, there wasn't much in the way of blogs this week to select from. That's pretty rare, but you can't expect people to always be on a hot streak. I know I haven't written a blog in a while. Probably because when I have something to tell you all. Those get posted on the news page.
Due to a an unfortunate accident, Nick's ( Babylonian) laptop was damaged, and that was the main cause for the delay for the newAmateur vs. Expert for Persona 4 for Ep. 18. I hope you visit it, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Anime AMV Showcase
While the video quality on this Gurren Lagann is far from spectacular. I thought the song and the editing work did a really good job of capturing the feel of the series. I always like it when an AMV uses a song that's fun and that I haven't already heard used in several others.

Congrats everyone and kudos to my teammates! I didn't have much blogs to do. School's getting busy for most of us.
It's always nice to see my pages in the spotlight, even though I've not been submitting them. Guess I must be doing something right!

One question:
how come you stopped spotlighting reviews? There's a lot of review submissions, and two of the best are continuing to review obscure anime and manga. We need to widen the community spotlight's scope a bit to give some love to the reviewers.
