Community Spotlight: 11/11/11

Drop what you're doing and check out this special all 1's edition of the community spotlight!

Community Spotlight

Welcome Anime Vice Community, I hope everyone has been enjoying their November. It's Veteran's Day today on this 11/11/11, so be sure to honor our troops and turn that praise up to 11. This is a busy time for me since I'm the cook in the family, but I'm never too busy to try to put together the Anime Vice Community Spotlight. Not rain, nor snow, nor even reading some ero-manga can stop me from showing off some of the incredible work done by our community. Well, maybe if I have a bad internet connection or site slow down. That's stopped me in the past. Oh well, on to the good stuff.

Just don't forget to join me and Nick ( Babylonian) in our weekly article covering the Persona 4 anime series. Also, Will ( sotyfan16) posted an article about some of the Epic Moments of Anime.

Remember, if you would like to submit something for the Spotlight. You can send me a PM, but please be sure to add "Spotlight" to the subject line. I can't stress how important that is because it might just be lost in my Inbox when I clear it. Even if you have worked on something yourself and are really proud of your work. Get to work, and make more content for the next Spotlight!! Jana!!

Congrats everyone! Let's keep things going. Today is a lucky day for those who love the number 11. For Veteran's day, let us give thanks to our military (any nation because Anime Vice and anime lovers are all over the world).

Cool banner, FoxxFireArt! Good job on the Bleach characters!

Major congrats are in order for everyone who managed to make it upon this week's AV Community Spotlight for their work in the Wiki Database or the blogs.

I've actually been seeing an influx of new users while a manage the wiki queue. Some people are adding some nice quality work.

I thought you'd appreciate that banner.

I'm almost done with all the main female characters in BLEACH. Just a few more to do.

Great job peeps! I want to thank my guest-host, Makoto, for helping make this week's DC a fun and good one despite the length.

Thanks for the supporting comments and Twitter retweets duder!

I admire your speed and precision in the wiki editing. I got a lot to improve on.
No problem! I have to spread the word of your spectacular articles.
Edit: I finally finished Shaman King (well, in October, but I never did post an official wiki update on it).

Look forward to me going ahead and making a HOTD Guide soon..maybe even this weekend.

I've certainly filled out enough information on the site about that series. There are a few characters that still need their story arcs section filled in, but Anime Vice does have EVERY character.

sotyfan16on Nov. 12, 2011 at 9:55 p.m.

And since you put so much time into it I should hardly have to use other sites for information or images. You essentially did some of the work for me and that makes it a lot easier to write.

This Week's Submissions (Nov. 14-Nov. 18)

A copy (just in case the PM got buried) of the report is here.

  • Anna worked on and almost finished the plot of Fairy Tail episode 105.
  • I finished Guilty Crown episode 4's plot with help of Kuro's images; also, I cleaned up and reformat the Blue Exorcist's franchise page.
  • Sket Dan episode 32 - Anna did a beautiful job on the plot summary and anime/manga differences and gave a lot of images. I did the weekly report for her work.
  • KuroNekoXIII did an excellent job on the weekly report for Guilty Crown episode 5. It was nice that Tom did a Watch and Learn for the anime.
  • Kuro did Ayase Shinomiya's page for Guilty Crown. He did her evolution and origin.
  • Last week's Beelzebub episode 41 is finished by my team. Anna and ShaodowKnight508 provided the images and short plot while I did the full plot summary with anime/manga differences.

I did look through the following wiki editors that are not my teammates: Buhssuht, Konantenshi, Auron570, Dochaus, Kyuubei2008, Wales, ScarletKittie, Juuhachi, Levance
