Bokurano’s author Kitou Mohiro special chapter for Bokurano that was going to be in the next issue of IKKI magazine was canceled; but not just for that issue, but completely. The worst part is that it was already finished.
GanGan online announced that the upcoming light novel “Kurai Heya” by Karabe Yousuke has been canceled as well, but the reasoning has not been stated. Karabe Yousuke states on his blog that the reason behind this cancellation was that it was against the ethics regulations of the company.
The poor guy asked them how he could change the story, so that it can fit in with their regulations, but they told him it was impossible for him to change the story to match their regulations. Being a fellow writer, I really feel bad for what is happening to him. Hopefully someone else will publish his novel.
So are both of these cancelations due to the whole censorship tsunami that is hitting Japan at the moment, or is this just coincidence? I hope it’s just coincidence.

I feel really sad.
I seem to recall this happening to CLAMP a time or two? Like with the X:1999 manga, and I think that's why there's a CLAMP made RG Veda doujin too. But I can't remember for certain. -_-
Now, if there were either a series of 10 or more, or maybe a few big name guys who had theirs canceled for notably similar reasons, then I'd say it should raise some flags.
But then again, just like with cases of zombies and mysterious homicides in your neighborhood involving the "victim(s)" being decapitated, it can't hurt to remain alert...
