Nyanko-sensei's quiet outbursts of joy, while Natsume and Kiyo are talking cracks me up.
Hmm so I guess this is where they come in with the realm of the wonders children see and than when they grow up they just stop believing in, spirits, ghouls, faries, among other supernatural entities. Maybe that's what happened with Reiko, she grew up and having to think about bills, rent, a relationship (I assume given Takashi's existance) and in the process forgot about her Yō kai friends.
The ending was so sad yet happy. ;(
