Wow Nyanko-sensei just keeps getting more awesome transforming into some girl that looks like Reiko and the shining light attack thing or w/e that was. That is one awesome feline spirit/demon/god (whichever of those catagories Madara falls into)
I was glad to see Sasada (and her insistence about the test of courage thing) come into play, but I kind of hope that Natsume opens up to her (or someone) and brings her (or whoever) into his world a bit more.
@gia:
Rule 34 right?
Ya I hear Sasada starts trying to go with Takashi on his visits to different yōkai and other spirits and consequently ends up playing somewhat of a role in his life when compared to the manga, where supposedly she moves away and is never heard from again after the chapter corresponding to this episode. I also heard in the manga apparently he's kind of a douche instead of the more freindly yet introverted guy he is here. He always has the comedy duo, I mean Kitamoto and Nishimura to keep him company I guess and Tanuma.
Anyway it would be nice to see what kind of relationship ends up developing between the two, wether it's just good friends or something deeper as long as it's not really forced. That always gets annoying when they add the curious somewhat quirky girl that follows the mysterious and introveted or strong and silent guy that keeps to himself and than a couple episodes/chapters later oh what do you know they end up falling for each other or something like that. Ugh it always is so forced. /rant about annoying clichés in storytelling
Guess someone keeping a list of anime that differ from the manga can add this series to it.
I think this anime is pretty faithful to the manga. Many stories are told out of order, and some smaller ones are combined to make a whole episode. But this is a shoujo manga and the overall tone is fairly faithful, with the anime being slightly warmer.
