The first ep of the series aired in the wee hours of Sunday morning (or Saturday night if you prefer) and will continue to air that day at 4am. Not a great slot, but the rebroadcast is probably related to Sony's upcoming release of the second half of the series, FINALLY. I actually just recently sent out an e-mail to Sony trying to confirm that the second part was actually going to come out on October 20th as a couple of retailers are reporting, but hadn't heard back. This seems like pretty good evidence, however.
I've already set up my DVR to start picking up the series-- I missed it the first time around and have never gotten around to listening to the English dub. Anyone else thinking of trying to watch?

In and of itself, that is. If you're a fan of Blood: The Last Vampire and are only interested in something that's more simple badass action, then yes, Blood+ is likely to disappoint. But on its own, it's a decent shounen series with a good smattering of slightly more shoujo-leaning drama.
