Beck Live Action Movie Teaser

Will it be a hit in the U.S.A?

Who doesn’t love a good Beck engrish rock song? Other than hillbillies, every one on this planet does. So here is our first look at the Beck live-action film, which is looking quite amazing at the moment. I don’t remember hearing this trailer’s song in the actual anime, so I’m not sure if they will be using old favorites, or new songs altogether. All I know is that this stars two, count them, two different Kamen Riders, so how can this do bad?

I do enjoy watching a Beck movie once in awhile - Gunvald!!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Kamen Riders are Ryotarou (Kamen Rider Den-O) as Koyuki and Ren (Kamen Rider Knight) as Saku

If so, good for them!

@GodLen: Ah that guy! I dunno man, he lost some of my respect after apparently going the way of Joe Odagiri and also making a fuzz about eating bugs on Japanese television.

Random: Beck DVD case.

The English version of the anime is better, quite a few characters voices fit better. With Chiba and Maho screaming out as prime examples of this. That and the engrish in the original got really horrid at times and took away from the more serious aspects of some of the scenes.

Still that does look like one good movie, although I can imagine getting annoyed by the engrish and the fact that no live action dub of any film is ever good.

@Konanda: good point

Okay, but where's the band 's inspiration? As in the multi-patterned dog who gave their band the name.

So true. The dub was fantastic.
