Who would win in a soccer match, the cast of Naruto, or the cast of One Piece?
RulesThe rules of soccer have not changed for this match, but just to clarify: no weapons, no hands, and no hurting opposing players. Because of the power levels involved, the Anime Cup uses a special indestructible ball that will not break no matter what kind of force is applied to it.
SettingTo be fair, this match will be held within a neutral location. This time Soul Society will host the Anime Cup. The Kaien Shiba Memorial Stadium is an enormous stadium that will host fans from both the world of Naruto and One Piece. Characters used within this match will make use of current powers and abilities.
Team One PieceLuffy
Buggy the Clown
Team One Piece consists of the heavy hitters from the Straw Hat pirates; basically everyone except Nami. Sanji will be the team ace, possessing the greatest kicking power, followed by Zoro. Chopper, Robin, and Brook are special cards, seeing as they have unexpected abilities that can help steal the ball away from opponents. Franky will be pure defense, and help protect the goal with his bulk. Rob Lucci brings his amazing speed to the team, Bon Clay his superior kicking power and ball handling abilities (see what I did there?), Coby has soru and heart, and Buggy can split apart basically being the wild card.
Luffy as goalkeeper can use his gomu gomu powers to cover all four corners of the goal, but is he fast enough to catch a speeding ball?
Team Naruto’s main striker will be Sasuke, for he has power, speed, and technique; Rock Lee, Itachi, and Killer Bee will also provide support in this realm as well. Kakashi, Neji, Kiba, and Orochimaru all are swift and technical, able to use their ninja abilities to steal the ball away from their opponents. Sakura and Shikamaru will be on defense, using Sakura’s anger and rage as a way of defending the goal and scaring her opponents, while Shikamaru’s strategy will help turn the tide of the match.
Naruto will be on goal for this game. His Shadow Clone Ability will be of great use blocking the goal from incoming shots.
The BattleIt would be no exaggeration to say that this soccer match would probably be the fiercest soccer match ever seen, even though both teams are newbies to the soccer world. Team Naruto might be overall faster than their opponents, but Team One Piece has the power. So the objective of Team Naruto should be to steal the ball away from One Piece’s strikers before they can shoot, and One Piece’s objectives to defend their strikers.
It is hard to say what direction the match will fall toward, but I can guess it is going to be about even throughout the game. But what I can expect are tons of yellow and red cards flying through the air. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if we were left with only a couple of players from each team at the end of the match.
