Currently, Bandai's website seems to offer nothing more than information on the Eureka Seven movie showing on September 24th-- until you look at the source code. Then you get to see the following message:
<!-- Chapter Four: A False Prophet -->
<!-- The dying nebula left a wake of destruction around its outer shell. -->
<!-- Entire fleets laid battered and wasted. -->
<!-- Some simply disappeared or were transported to an entirely different dimension. Others were sucked, silently screaming, into the rift. -->
<!-- But within the inner core, new seeds were implanted. -->
<!-- Sir! Sir! Wake up! We are receiving strange transmissions! -->
<!-- ... wha? Are they from us? -->
<!-- No sir... Oscar, Yankee, and Mike squadrons all reporting in... they're busy with other targets. The meddlesome Archalpha has just left this quadrant for a completely different target and is no longer under our direct control anyways. -->
<!-- Ignore their transmissions then, they do not concern us. In fact... why don't we expose the source of the transmissions? -->
<!-- Sir, that would precipitate an interstellar war. -->
<!-- So what? They started it by imitating our broadcasts. They can't even install a proper timing mechanism on their warhead! -->
<!-- Sir, with due respect, please be reminded this is not some fictional space opera. -->
<!-- It's been a boring summer, hasn't it? Why don't we do something interesting ourselves to counteract them. -->
Did I miss chapters one through three? That said, I have no idea what's being teased here. Oscar makes me think Rose of Versailles (HA! That'll be the day), Yankee obviously leads me to think of the once-popular “yanki” punk style of dress in Japan, and Mike...well, at first glance I think Takashi Miike. On the other hand, the initials could stand for something (“OYM”?). Or maybe it's an anagram? (“Karaoke Minces Ye!”)
Well, in any case, they're not wrong to say that it's been a pretty dull summer so far. Hopefully this means we'll get something interesting from Bandai at Otakon! What say you, my clever, ever-speculating readers?

Perhaps I'm being biased or reading too much into this, but I'm thinking it releates to this:

Specifically, the parts about the "false prophet" & "timing mechanism."
Oh my. If that's a reference to what I think it is, then that's quite a burn.
Anyway, should be an interesting Otakon, that's for damn sure.
