Okay, probably not REALLY "for us," but hey, they are delaying the release of
Eureka Seven -good night sleep tight young lovers- (also known as Eureka Seven: Pocketful of Rainbows) to almost the same time
our streaming run of Eureka Seven-- which has been going on more or less daily at my blog --until March 2nd, instead of its original February 9th release date. That's true for both the DVD and the Blu-Ray.
Handy that it'll be out (and maybe on sale!) as soon as we finish the show, although probably annoying for those who've already watched it. Sorry!
According to the mailer I got from Bandai, two other titles were also delayed:
Hayate the Combat Butler volume 4 and
Kurokami part 1 DVD and Blu-Ray, both to the same date (March 2nd).
Hmm could they be trying to push it into their next fiscal year with the hope those titles will sell well and start them off with something nice to tell their investors at the beginning of the year?
Alternate Universe telling? That seems even more dull.
I've often noticed a lot of similarities between Eureka Seven and Evangelion. Both start off rather lighthearted with some fan service and turn rather dark and depressing near the end( i.e. the severed hand with the ring), both had kuudere girls (Rei/Eureka), both have tsundere girls (Asuka/Anemone), and both have whiny protagonists with some sort of power that moves the machines (Shinji/Renton), I could go on.
Oh, so you haven't gone all the way through series yet? My bad. Now I'm glad I didn't mention who's severed hand that was. lol
Eureka is another anime featuring the VA Koshimizu Ami. Though, this anime was very well dubbed.
