Baka and Test may had just ended its broadcast, but fret not... they have just announced a second season, via posting on their official website. I'd be suspicious of it being an April Fool's joke, but its just so plausible. While the show looks pretty generic, I ended up hearing a lot of good things about it from you all, and the internet in general. Maybe a second season will give me the opportunity get on board the wacky, test/battle school comedy... even if the OP reeks of generic-ness.This series revolves around the lowly, misfit students of Class F--essentially the dumbest kids in school, at least according to their test scores. In this school students can battle one another to improve their ranks and move to a better class (i.e. Class F to Class A). They enter a magical digital field on the school grounds and summon beings to fight for them. The summons' strength is determined by their respective students' intelligence. The students in Class F are given the worst of the worst in terms of classroom and learning materials, hence their desire to move up. The students in Class F all have a number of wacky characteristics--most fall within the typical anime character stereotypes. As the series progresses, more focus is given to the characters adventures and daily interactions with each other as well as members of other classes. The show is a fun, slightly clever school comedy that pokes fun at many anime tropes with a touch of fanservice. --- Wiki description
Answer me, oh people who watched the show, did they leave a good ground for a sequel? I mean, they didn't make it to Class A in the first season, did they?
