This will be the LAST cosplay post from Anime Expo, so...sorry, those of you who want more, and you're welcome, those of you who are sick of it!
But this collection is it. The ultimate. These are the costumes that blew me away for one reason or another, and there aren't that many, because I've been going to anime conventions for ten years and I'm a jaded, bitter old bitch. (That's not true. I still get excited over stuff. But I'm still not SURPRISED by stuff much.)
Anyway, I'll quit dawdling and get to the pictures! The first two you'll have seen before, of course.

Not amazing at first glance, until you realize she really DID hurt her foot. Excessive devotion, but awesome cosplay.

The Gurren Lagaan cosplay was amazing.
It's also very, VERY cool to see cosplay from pre-2000 series. I remember attending AX several years back and nearly fangasm-ing over Iria, Sharon Apple and that girl robot whassername from Yasuomi Umetsu's "Presence"; the latter was such a great surprise.
Kind of saddened at the lack of Noa Izumi and Birdy cosplay.
I feel so damn old.

Gurren Lagaan cosplay was mighty impressive. I've been wanting to see how someone would pull off an Excalibur cosplay. Looks pretty awesome!
I'm still kinda confused... that girl with the broken foot, is she supposed to be Rin from Rideback? or someone else...
