Crunchyroll has new simulcasts to announce, so I'm sitting here listening to Keith as he explains who Crunchyroll is and what they do.
Apparently they're giving out Anime Member Cards, which get discounts at certain vendors at Anime Expo and Otakon, and other cons. Did not know that. Why haven't I gotten one yet?
Reader deanbcurtis notes that Kanamemo is up, so I guess that's the first one! First their ongoing titles, Naruto Shippuden, Shugo Chara, Gin Tama, Shangri-la, REBORN!, Saki, Hayate, Chi's Sweet Home, Mom's Life (Mainichi Kaasan)...
Titles that just turned catalog (i.e. the simulcast ended but are still available): Kurokami, Natsu no Arashi, and Ristorante Paradiso.
Recent catalog additions: CoMix Wave's "Peeping Life," Fanworks' "Dark Cat," "Great Hunt," and "Japan Tourism Channel," and Robot's Academy Award-winning short, "Pieces of Love" as well as "Diary of Tortov Riddle." Aaaand MMV titles like FCC's "Glass Maiden (Crystal Blaze)" and "Catman," MMV's "School Days," "Kono Aozora wo Yakusoku ni," and "Happiness," and TMS Entertainment's "Sherlock Hound" and "Galaxy High School."
And the NEW simulcasts... Aoi Hana was already announced, of course.
Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou, to launch TBD. Kanamemo, which they might show at the booth later...a new episode of Time of Eve (episode 5) dropped on Thursday...Charger Girl, aka Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan is also TBD. That's it for now, but stay tuned for more.
Keith's voice is gone so he's actually going to forego a q&a so that he can get back to the booth. I wonder if our interview will still be doable? D'oh!
