Hello all you Vicers. Welcome to Anime Vice's Quick Picks, where we tell you what to pick when it comes to anime and manga... This week's releases composes of a lot of misfit stories about aliens, islands, mutants, pirates and more. Or as Bigheart711 describes it: "Caged Mushroom Aliens from Eden Island".
Special thanks to Bigheart711 and takashichea who did most of the work...
Bigheart711's Picks
Oblivion Island sounds interesting from its premise and Inugami sounds seriously dark and twisted. Both anime are on my radar as of now.
I didn't like the Marvel Anime version of Iron Man, but I thought the X-Men anime was decent. Yet, neither version ofKekkaishi was that interesting to me. Good thing there's that Mario game to distract me from those...
takashichea's Picks
I was a big fan of Inuyasha when I watched it on adult swim back in middle school, but I don't think I ever read the manga version. After reading the synopsis for Itsuwaribito, I really want to see how Utsuho can save people with his lies.
I haven't heard of any of the anime being released except of One Piece. Then there's Trinity Blood, a series about vampires. I'm into sci-fi and the supernatural genre, so I think I'll try it.
For video games, I feel like the new Super Mario Bros is just the same, repetitive game with different powers.
sora_thekey's Picks
Like Taka, I am very interested in Itsuwaribito. I guess telling lies proves useful when looking for treasure. Another thing that peeks my interest is This Boy Can Fight Aliens!. When it comes to alien invasion stories the plot could go either way. Don't ask me why I picked it; it just caught my eye.
I'm not much of a gamer but The Last Story was made by Final Fantasy creator Hitonobu Sakaguchi, and I love me some FF-type stories!
Alright, your turn... What will you pick?

That's a whole lotta Marvel anime right there. I wonder if the X-Men anime dub is any good...
@Daniel_Newton:
I love the American animation for X-Men and X-Men Evolution. I haven't read the comics or try the anime version.
Most people didn't like it. Yet, I don't know if they are comic book fans or the animated series fans.
It turns out I missed one. It was weird how it appeared when I was doing the manga table today.
