It was on August 22nd that The Anime Network released that they were adding three new English dubbed anime to their lineup, and included among those is PERSONA 4 THE ANIMATION. As many believed, they've brought the entire video game cast to reprise their roles ( -- by which they mean PERSONA 4 ARENA / GOLDEN). As we all know by now, the voices forChie Satonaka and Teddie are being taken on my new performers.
PERSONA 4 Cast
| Yu Narukami | Johnny Yong Bosch |
| Yosuke Hanamura | Yuri Lowenthal |
| Chie Satonaka | Erin Fitzgerald |
| Yukiko Amagi | Amanda Winn Lee |
| Kanji Tatsumi | Troy Baker |
| Teddie | Sam Riegel |
| Nanako Dojima | Karen Strassman |
| Margaret | Michelle Ann Dunphy |
| ADR Director & Script | Kristi Reed |
The list of actors that have been officially released is a bit limited. It still doesn't include notable characters such as Ryotaro Dojima, Naoto Shirogane, Rise Kujikawa, Igor, and many others. It's just a safe assumption at this point that if they're in the game. They'll be in the anime.
Though the first part of the anime will be released in the US in September 22nd, The Anime Network is getting a jump on that by adding the English dub on their website starting on September 5th. However, this will be offered exclusively to their paid subscription members. They do have what they call a dub trailer on their website, but don't expect to get any sneak previews of the voice acting. Almost the entire thing is just the opening theme "sky's the limit" with a bit of action from episode one added to the end.
You can see the trailer HERE if you still want to check it out, and the entire subtitled version of the series is still available at The Anime Network HERE & HULU HERE.
Just a reminder, in case you missed it. Sentai Filmworks will be releasing PERSONA 4 THE ANIMATION in the US on both DVD and Blu-ray, but they were forced to remove the Japanese audio track from the Blu-ray version. This means that the Blu-ray will be English only. The standard DVD will retain all it's original features. Keep that in mind when ordering.

Kinda funny that they left out VO info on Naoto because people have been trying to figure out who has been voicing her for a while now.

I think it's because they don't want to outright spoil/reveal that Naoto's a girl. But why though? What is the point of hiding something that's already common knowledge, and it's painfully obvious even from the start what her gender really is?
@asian_pride:
Even if that was the cause. It still wouldn't explain why Rise wasn't mentioned in that official release.
You also need to remember that in the Japanese version Naoto is voiced by Romi Park, who's famous for voicing many women and boys. She's done Edward Elric and Toshiro Hitsugaiya, to name a few. I don't think in the original Japanese release that it was that obvious.

I was kind of confused by this as well. I'm not TOO worried about it, considering Laura Bailey returned for P4Arena, but considering how crazy the whole situation with Sentai was early on I'm still sort of cautious.
You think after Igor's Japanese voice actor died (whose name sadly escapes me at the moment), we won't see him in subsequent variations of Persona?
