Doflamingo's rampage is cut short by a message from Trafalgar Law, but that only leaves him more enraged.
The Good
I always figured that Trafalgar Law had a dark sense of humor, but I could never have dreamed he was this morbid. That panel of the severed heads of Baby 5 and Buffalo left adrift was so shocking. Even just for a second, I had forgotten that Law could chop someone up and leave them alive, and it was nearly impossible for someone to die in ONE PIECE. Setting that aside. I don't think anyone can deny the tactical genius of Law. In one move he has put Doflamingo into a literal lose/lose situation. One path leads him to destruction by one of the Four Emperors, and the other has him hunted as a traitor by theMarines. There is no version of this plan where Doflamingo comes out ahead.
It was nice that we finally got a cheerful farewell with the giant kids. I was concerned that they were going to get left behind with the G-5 to face Doflamingo's wrath. It made sense that the kids are sent off first. I think this counts as the first ONE PIECE farewell where it's the crew staying ashore. It all marks the end of the Punk Hazard arc.
For anyone who hoped for more Smoker and Tashigi. Check out Law's final words to Smoker. He basically tells the infamous White Chaser exactly where they're headed next.
The Bad
I was actually looking forward to seeing a battle between Doflamingo and the crew, but this uncertainly is another kind of excitement. What choice will the Warlord make?
The whole extended G-5 chanting was a tad annoying, but it was a nice set up for Tashigi to learn the truth about the crew. It was also worth it to see Smoker's face palm.

With this outcome, I honestly have no clue where this is going next for the Straw Hats. It first seemed they were going to face Doflamingo, but that's apparently been cut off. Only thing that seems to be left is a path to Kaido. However, Oda has never been one for linear story telling. Just remember how long it took Luffy and the gang to reach Fish-Man Island. What choice do you think Doflamingo will make next week?
