Ask a Voice Actor Anything

A quickie drop-in convention? Yes, yes it is.


So tomorrow I'll be attending Super-Con, a comic book convention here in San Jose, for part of my day. And who all is going to be there? Why, just four of the best-known anime voice actors out there (and a bunch of comics guests): Vic Mignogna (Fullmetal Alchemist's Ed Elric), Travis Willingham (FMA's Roy Mustang), Laura Bailey (FMA's Lust), and Crispin Freeman (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's Kyon, Hellsing's Alucard). Hey...one of these is not like the others!

Anyway, I haven't been able to arrange anything in advance, but I'm hoping to get a few minutes in with one or more of these actors at the convention if they have some free time, so I want to know what YOU want to know. What do you want me to ask the actors?

Man, I still think Kid Trunks whenever I see Laura Bailey's name. I gotta get with the times! XD Any possible new roles any of these guys wanna hint towards? Or any series they hope will get licensed so they can play a certain role? Are any of the FMA guys excited about FMA:B?

Has the slow-down in the anime market affected their opportunities in the industry?  by a rough percentage, how many fewer auditions or casting calls are they going to, as opposed to 2002, or 2005?  Have any of their friends quit anime, or voice-over work entirely for other acting gigs (or other non-acting work)?
