Ar Tonelico 3: More Stripping JRPG Goodness

Its for the greater good.

We've covered before this concept before, but words doesn't do it justice. Ar Tonelico 3, a rather exciting looking RPG, involves a system where your female characters strip for the greater good. They absorb the energy around them, and apparently clothes just get in the way. Kotaku recently posted some scans showing us a smattering of the characters, and the depths to which they are devoted to this idea.

Seeing this in application, its not as terrible as I thought. In fact, its quite funny. If this is the furthest this mechanic goes, I'll get behind it as silly fun, rather then terrible, pandering fanservice. I mean, its not like the game involves actual nudity, and its not like other games or anime series don't feature characters in such states of undress...

This game comes out some time next month, it would be fun if fumatsu gave it a perfect score, the battle of rpg fans would be entertaining, but i'm guessing it's a 32

It has been scientifically proven that when in the world of anime, the less clothes a female character has on the more powerful of a fighter she is. Seriously keep an eye out the next time you watch an anime, you will be surprised how often that rule of thumb works.

Just to clear the misunderstandings many of you have in your minds; If you think this is only a stripping game, you're gravely wrong...
